Security Systems Technician (Springfield/Branson)

We specialize in the installation and service of Intrusion systems, IP Access Control and IP Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. We are seeking an experienced candidate or independent contractor for an installation/service technician for CCTV, Access Control & Intrusion systems in the greater Springfield & Southwest Missouri area. You will succeed with us if you are intelligent, can work independently and have excellent customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• On site installation & repair of security systems. (Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control systems)
• On site troubleshooting and repair of servers, computers and system components (DVRs, cameras, alarm panels, access control system components, etc.)
• Installation of loaner equipment and reinstallation of repaired components
• Perform preventive maintenance on systems
• Troubleshoot/configure network and/or remote LAN/WAN or internet connection
• Program/configure routers, switches, DSL modems, etc.
EXPERIENCE/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Preferred:
• A+ Certification
• PC hardware repair experience
• Associate or technical degree in electronics, computer science and LAN/WAN technologies
• Strong IT/networking skills
• Strong PC/Windows O.S. skills
• Ability to learn and master several computer software platforms
• Intrusion, CCTV & Access Control systems installation/service experience
• Related audio/video/electronics systems installation/service experience a plus
