The Challenge:
To provide real-time surveillance feeds from numerous departments in 23 store locations that can be centrally and remotely monitored. Dierbergs needed a versatile system capable of delivering detailed imagery to assist
with real-time loss prevention measures. There was also a need for
recording and storing video as evidence in pursuing cases of theft and
fraud. To stay within budget, the system would need to be integrated
with the existing infrastructure.
The Solution:
Will Electronics installed closed-circuit systems in all store locations that feed directly to Dierbergs' corporate office. At their surveillance terminal (above left), investigators can switch between stores and monitor multiple cameras simultaneously and individually. The feed can also be relayed to wireless laptop computers, allowing investigators to conduct remote surveillance stake-outs. Footage is stored on DVR systems for future reference.
