Videofied® Paves The Way For Temporary Video Monitoring Services
One situation that frequently comes up for security providers is how to provide effective, inexpensive monitoring services for a client occupying a job site for a brief period of time. Perhaps it’s a construction firm building a warehouse in an industrial area: they’ll be storing vehicles outside and leaving building materials at the job site. They may even need to store chemicals or expensive materials such as copper piping at the site. They need a video monitoring system in place to protect these assets, but they don’t want an expensive system requiring permanently installed cameras, wiring and infrastructure.

Videofied security systems assist responding officers by providing video-verified alarms: upon activation, the Videofied monitor transmits a brief, 10-second video clip of what triggered the alarm to the authorities. Police treat a video-verified alarm as a “Crime in Progress” and respond faster than for a routine alarm. Videofied’s video verification also prevents police from responding to false alarms caused by small animals or wind-blown debris. As an additional service, Videofied monitors can be set up to transmit the video clip to the cell phone of a property owner, project manager or other authorized agent. In this way, video verification provides greater security to customers and makes law enforcement more efficient.
